I recently found myself an interest into scripting.
Here are some of them.
Map importer for vraymtl
It scans a folder for maps, compare their names, and
make understand a material name, and passes.
Choose a material from the drop menu.
Or batch them all.
When names are close, like boot and boot_dark,
you may have to check for mistakes.
PHX version tool
It creates a sceneroot/cache/sim_name/Version #
and makes it easy to browse between versions
If you change the name, it will go back to V1
Hit version up or down, or use the dropdown list
if the dropdown goes crazy, hit refresh.
You must start the script with a sim selected.
Copy / Paste
It saves the selection to a temp file in user root as a max 2020, and merges it in.
So its easy to copy paste objects between instances of max no matter what the version.
TRS lock / unlock
Locks/unlocks the transforms of the objects.
Specially useful for the cameras.
